“If you always do what you’ve always done, then you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten; so do it differently but consistently.”

(LTC), Ms. Washington encourages her team to be exceptional while striving to make a difference. She contributes the success of her organization to a spirit of excellence and perseverance.

After a 10 year stint with a Fortune 500 company, Washington was confronted with the reality of being a victim to downsizing. She then took a leap of faith and founded LTC in 1996. In 12 short years LTC has successfully implemented solutions for organizations representing more than 11 industries. Certified as an 8(a), MBE, WBENC, and an approved GSA contractor, LTC has assisted government and commercial clients such as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and Kaiser Permanente.
Washington received a B.S. in Industrial Technology/Engineering from the University of Maryland. She continued on to earn an M.A. in Human Resources Development from Bowie State University. Among her professional affiliations and achievements, Washington is a certified member of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Women President’s Educational Organization, member of Vistage International, graduate of Leadership of Prince George’s County, and American Society of Training and Development. Notable accomplishments include Dorothy B. Brothers Executive Scholarship 2007 Award Recipient and the Top 40 Under 40 Achievement Award.
Throughout her illustrious career as a business owner, Washington’s commitment to her family and community is evident. Washington sponsors several Summer Youth Programs, KLM Girls and Boys Club, and she is also a philanthropist to various non-profit organizations.
